The “É Tempo de Brincar 24” project is already underway. Every year, the Municipality of Albufeira, through the services of the Education division, organizes a set of activities designed for children who are attending Kindergartens in the municipality’s public network, whose parents are working without alternatives, where they can keep your children safe, particularly during the month of August.
The program, which last year welcomed 400 children, will take place from the 5th to the 30th of August, in the Kindergartens of Vale Pedras, Ferreiras, Paderne and Guia. The first fortnight runs from the 5th to the 16th of August and the second from the 19th to the 30th of August, with activities taking place from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
The president of the Municipality – José Carlos Rolo, emphasizes that “the municipality is concerned about the well-being of its children and committed to providing answers to parents who have no one to leave their children with at a time of year when the economic activity of the municipality municipality is at its maximum capacity”.
Registration, which is free, opens on April 10th (Wednesday), from 9:30 am, and runs until April 12th (Friday) until 11:59 pm, and must be done online via the following link, being that the allocation of places will be done in order of registration, explains a note from Albufeira City Council.
