The Metropolitan Archbishop of Braga, D. José Cordeiro, calls for participation in the Walk for Life, which will take place next Saturday, April 6th, starting at 2:45 pm, departing from Avenida Central, in a message that we have transcribed in full.

The city of Braga once again joins this national initiative to defend life, promoted by the Portuguese Federation for Life.

Message – Walk for Life

Life is one of the great gifts that God the Creator offers, in a superabundant way, to all humanity. For this reason, it is the duty of everyone, and in a particular way of Christians, to always defend life and promote the dignity of all human beings.

Participating in the Walk for Life is, therefore, a gesture that demonstrates, first and foremost, gratitude for this gift that God gives us and is, above all, an alert so that everyone feels committed to eradicating in our society everything that represents a attack on the life and dignity of God’s children.

Therefore, I call for your presence at Av. Central in Braga, on April 6th, from 2:45 pm.

+ José Manuel Cordeiro

Metropolitan Archbishop of Braga
