The Municipality of Tábua celebrates its Municipal Holiday on April 10th, marking the anniversary with a series of initiatives that will take place throughout the day.
The celebrations will begin with the Tábua Volunteer Firefighters Fanfare (9:00 am), followed by the raising of the Flag in the Town Hall, at 9:30 am. At 10:15am, the Combatant’s Day Ceremony for the 106th Anniversary of the Battle of La Lys will take place at the Rotunda dos Combatentes, in Tábua (Tábua Center of the League of Combatants). At 11:30 am, the Inauguration of the Venda da Esperança Wastewater Drainage System will take place. Balocas and Valongo – AINTAR, in the town of Balocas.
At 3:00 pm the Inauguration of the Artes do Palco Workshop (Former Percelada Primary School) will take place.
At the Tábua Cultural Center, starting at 4:00 p.m., a Solemn Session will take place, where illustrious personalities and institutions that, over the years, have provided relevant services in the aggrandizement of the municipality of Tábua will be honored, contributing to the promotion, good name and prestige of the County.
In addition to these distinctions, Diplomas of Merit – Student for the 2022/2023 academic year and Diplomas of Merit will be awarded to Companies with PME Líder 2022 and PME Excelência 2022 status, as well as public recognition for retired employees in 2023.
The celebrations end with the musical show “Toy & Academia Artística do Municipio de Tábua”, at 9:30 pm.
