As part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April, the Mercado do Forno do Tijolo, in Lisbon, hosts the exhibition “10 days that shook Portugal”.
Another ‘step’ in the life of the Ephemera Cultural Association’s archive will soon be completed, in partnership with the Arroios Parish Council. Namely, the opening of a new space for exhibitions, debates, publications and collection of all types of material that feeds Ephemera.
Until then, you can visit the first joint initiative, “10 days that shook Portugal: Materials from the revolution from the Ephemera Archive”, organized by the historian and founder of the project, José Pacheco Pereira.
The release of political prisoners, the international impact of the revolution, publications in the international press, and more, are some of the themes portrayed in the exhibition, on a journey that begins on April 25th and ends on May 4th. And it brings together hundreds of original documents that witnessed the first ten days of freedom in Portugal.
