Synopsis
Ruby is a typical teenager. She grew up in a beach town in Florida. Like all teenagers, she is ashamed of her family. But in this case, Ruby has a special reason to be ashamed: she comes from a family of sea monsters! Nobody in town knows, but poor Ruby is afraid that someday the truth will come out. What would become of her social life then? That would be a disaster. The Marinhos are different, but neighbors blame the fact that the family is from Canada. Of course, the truth comes out and disaster strikes.
