One of the most important musical movements in the country, Clube da Esquina, has just won a documentary that has been highly praised by critics and the public.

“Nothing Will Be Like Before – A Música do Clube da Esquina”, directed by Ana Rieper (‘Na vein do Rio’, ‘Vou rifar meu cardiac’, ‘5x Chico – o Velho e sua gente’), deals with the group of artists responsible for creating the albums Clube da Esquina 1 and 2. The film shows the creative process of musicians, such as Milton Nascimento, Márcio and Lô Borges, Fernando Brant, Ronaldo Bastos and Beto Guedes, including places, people and other references that
influenced the creation of the songs.

After being shown at some important festivals throughout Brazil, such as Rio and Mostra de São Paulo, the doc premiered in cinemas across the country on March 18th. In Belo Horizonte it is showing at Centro Cultural Unimed-BH Minas1 (6:30 pm), at Cine Belas Artes (1:40 pm and 7:10 pm) and at Cineart Cidade (6:40 pm). In Contagem, the film can be seen at Cineart Shooping Contagem (8:30 pm).
