The first trailer for the film “Joker 2”, scheduled for October 4th, should arrive next week. New rumors suggest that the content will be highlighted at the Warner Bros. panel, on the 9th, during CinemaCon 2024, in Las Vegas, USA.
The news was made public by the anonymous profile TrailerTracker, known for anticipating information about Hollywood productions. Other sources, such as insider Daniel Richman, confirmed the date.
The production, which is not part of James Gunn and Peter Safran’s new DC Cinematic Universe, will, in fact, be a musical, with at least 15 songs well known to the public. The film will bring back director Todd Phillips, who also wrote the script, alongside Scott Silver.

Joaquin Phoenix will return to the role of the iconic villain that earned him an Oscar for Best Actor in 2020, but now alongside pop singer Lady Gaga. The artist faces a new challenge in cinema, giving life to a new version of Harleen Quinzel, Harley Quinn.
The film, released in 2019, was a huge success with the public and surpassed US$1 billion at the box office. This paved the way for the arrival of the sequel, which has a very ambitious and risky proposal: presenting a musical to the public.
The most impressive thing of all is that, according to some leaks, the film cost approximately US$70 million, a figure well below the big Hollywood blockbusters that reached billions.
Although it is an adaptation of DC Comics comic books, the narrative is inspired by filmmaker Martin Scorsese’s classics, “Taxi Driver” and “The King of Comedy”. They all star Robert DeNiro, who also plays an important role in the plot of Joker.
According to recent information, “Joker 2” had a budget almost three times larger than its predecessor, and cost a total of around US$200 million. Warner has high expectations of box office revenue from the sequel.
