‘The Exorcism’: “They were making a cursed film”, says poster for the new TERROR with Russell Crowe

‘The Exorcism‘ (The Exorcism), new demonic possession horror starring Russell Crowe (‘Uncontrollable Fury’), won a poster.

The first trailer will be released tomorrow, April 25th.

Originally titled ‘The Georgetown Project‘, the film is produced by Kevin Williamson (‘Panic’).

In the plot…

“Anthony Miller (Crowe) is an actor who begins to lose control while filming a supernatural horror film. His estranged daughter wonders if he is returning to his past vices or if there is something more sinister going on.”

Joshua John Millerscreenwriter of ‘Behind the Scenes Horror‘, commands the film, in addition to signing the script alongside MA Fortin.

The cast also has Ryan Simpkins, Sam Worthington, Chloe Bailey, Adam Goldberg It is David Hyde Pierce.

The horror is scheduled to premiere on June 7th.

please note that Crowe will also return following ‘The Pope’s Exorcist‘. Previously, the actor had revealed that two new chapters of the franchise are in development:

“Well, that’s under discussion at the moment. The original producers kicked off not just one sequel, but two. But there’s been a change in studio heads at the moment, so that’s happening in some circles at the moment. But definitely, man, we set up this character so that you could take him out and put him in a lot of different circumstances. And remember that the man it’s based on, Gabriele Amorth, wrote 12 books. So we have more than enough source material to make one or two more of these films. But that probably won’t happen until next year.”
