“Heavy Metal is not a pure, complete, definable form of music. I mean it is made up of many elements in itself. Now, for what one person considers ‘heavy’, there will be another person who will say ‘no, that’s not heavy, that’s classic Rock’. Now, we also have all these categories that I have no interest in whatsoever!”, said Bruce, during an interview with the Mexican website ATMósferas Magazine.

“What I mean is, when I listen to something, all I care about is that it’s a good song. I don’t care if it’s Sepultura, Scorpions, Cinderella or Uli Jon Roth; I don’t care who it is, as long as it’s a good song. It was like when I was growing up, because we didn’t have any of those ridiculous categories”, added Bruce, who made a peculiar comparison to detail his point of view.
