Roberto Martínez rules out eight players for the meeting with the Nordic team.
The Portuguese Football Federation announced the eight players who will be left out for the national team’s game against Sweden.
Diogo Dalot, João Cancelo, Danilo Pereira, Otávio, Rúben Neves, Vitinha, João Félix and Cristiano Ronaldo will not compete in the meeting scheduled for Thursday.
Portugal plays Gyokeres’ Sweden at the D. Afonso Henriques Stadium, in Guimarães, at 7:45 pm. At the same time, on March 26, they face Slovenia, in Ljubljana.
The eight players who will not face Sweden will join the rest of the delegation at the start of preparations for the match against Slovenia.
