Dragon’s Dogma 2 updated to allow locking at 30fps

-

Capcom presented a new update for Dragon’s Dogma 2, already available on the PS5 and Steam versions, and will arrive in the Xbox Series version within days, with several improvements to the experience.

Despite allowing you to disable ray tracing and lock performance to a maximum of 30fps, Capcom says this update does not mean major improvements in performance. That will come later, in a future update you’re working on.

Improvements have been made to the overall experience, several bugs have been fixed, and these options have been introduced:

PlayStation 5 and Steam

  • Added the option to start a new game, even when there is already saved data
  • The number of “Art of Metamorphosis” items available in Pawn Guilds has been changed to 99
  • The Mission that allows you to obtain your own housing (where you can save the game and rest) becomes available earlier in the game.
  • Fixed several errors in the texts
  • Fixed several bugs

PlayStation 5

  • Added option to turn off Motion Blur in options
  • Added the option to turn off Ray Tracing in the options
  • Added the option to lock performance to a maximum of 30fps in the options

Steam

  • Improved quality when DLSS Super Resolution is enabled
  • Fixed the problem related to the presentation of models in very specific conditions
