RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) – The average selling price of Aviation Kerosene (QAV) from Petrobras (PETR4) to distributors will be increased by 8.4% from this Friday, compared to the value practiced in February, reported the company on a note, interrupting a series of four consecutive monthly falls.

The increase will correspond to around R$0.31 per liter, added the company, which adjusts QAV prices monthly according to contractual formulas negotiated with distributors.

Thus, in 2024, there is a reduction of 2.7%, which represents an average cut of R$0.11 per liter in relation to the price of December 2023, informed Petrobras.

The company also highlighted that in 2023 there was an accumulated reduction of 19.6% in the average price of QAV, which corresponds to an average reduction of R$1.00 per liter in relation to the December 2022 price.

Petrobras sells the QAV produced in its refineries or imported only to distributors, who in turn transport and sell the products to air transport companies.
