His first substitute is Ricardo Martins David (União), who presents himself politically as Ricardo Abram. He is the nephew of Anísio (or Aniz) Abraham David, one of the most famous bicheiros in Rio de Janeiro, patron of the Beija-Flor de Nilópolis samba school and former president of the Liga das Escolas de Samba do Rio de Janeiro – he is now 86 years old.

Like most of his family, Ricardo Abrão also has a political trajectory. He was a state deputy in Rio for two terms and has worked for four parties before arriving at União: PP, PDT, PTB and PL. In the last legislature, also a substitute, he took office on three occasions.
