The Special Fish Retailer starts this Wednesday (27th) in Piracicaba (SP). The action takes place annually and is an initiative of the Municipal Department of Agriculture and Supply (Sema). The intention is to offer fish at prices up to 25% cheaper than what is found in markets.

The action will take place at Varejão Municipal do Centro (Rua Santa Cruz, 1.260), from 2pm to 7pm on Wednesday (27th) and Thursday (28th). On Friday (29), the opening hours are from 6am to 12pm and on Saturday (30), from 5am to 12pm.

Sema’s expectation is to sell 4 to 5 tons of frozen freshwater and saltwater fish. Among the species sold will be cascudo, curimbatá, croakers and also more noble fish, such as painted, baby fish and fresh cod.

In addition to fish, items already present in retail stores will also be sold, such as fruits, cereals, vegetables, seasonings, condiments, eggs, cold cuts, dairy products, poultry, bread and sweets, in addition to the food court with pastries, green corn and sugarcane juice.
