This homemade sausage recipe is simple to prepare and, although the list of ingredients is not that small, you can prepare several units and keep them saved for other meals. Learn step by step:

  • 1 carrot

  • 1 red pepper

  • ½ onion

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 2 tablespoons of fine rolled oats, soaked in a little water

  • 1 tablespoon paprika

  • 200g chicken breast

  • 200g of ham

  • Seasonings to taste (salt, black pepper, paprika)

  • 100ml of water

For the sausage sauce, place the 100ml of water in a blender and add the carrot, pepper, onion, garlic, hydrated oats to bind and the seasonings. Beat everything until the mixture is homogeneous and set aside.

In a food processor or blender, blend the chicken and ham. Then mix the meat with the reserved sauce until smooth. Place the mixture in plastic bags (the ice cream ones) to shape the sausage.

Then, just cook for 15 to 20 minutes in boiling water and, after cooling, remove from the plastic. Is ready!

The recipe is made with nutritious ingredients, with emphasis on carrot, which is rich in antioxidant properties and contributes several benefits to the body. In addition to strengthening the immune system, reducing cholesterol and helping to control blood glucose, carrots also help combat constipation.

Another important ingredient is chicken breasthealthy and less fatty part, rich in vitamins A, C, D, E and complex B. It contributes to strengthening the body, increasing immunity and helping to control cholesterol levels.

To add on, the homemade sausage also has rolled oats, a cereal that stands out for its insoluble fiber. It helps in the weight loss process, as it promotes greater satiety and helps regulate bowel function.
