Violent accident between three cars leaves two dead and three injured in SC

A driver, who was not identified, and another 47-year-old driver died in a violent accident in Campos Novos, in the Midwest of Santa Catarina. The collision involved three cars, on Sunday night (31).

According to https://twitter.com/CBMSC193/status/1774562859541745733, in the Chevrolet Corsa, with Campos Novos license plate, a driver was trapped in the wreckage. He was already dead when rescuers arrived. No personal documents were found, therefore the victim cannot be identified.

In the other car, a Wolskwagem Voyage, with Capinzal/SC license plate, was the 47-year-old driver. He was trapped in the hardware, vital signs were unstable, unconscious, he had multiple injuries on his body.

He was extricated and taken to the hospital by the Samu team, however, the man succumbed to his injuries and died.

On the Voyage was a 48-year-old woman, she was conscious and said she felt pain in her chest. She was removed from the car and taken to the hospital by EMS.

In the third car, a Volkswagen Jetta, was the 50-year-old driver. He was conscious, with chest pain, and was taken to the hospital by the fire team.

With the 50-year-old man was a 46-year-old hitchhiker. She was conscious, also had chest pain and had a nosebleed. She was taken to the hospital.

The PRF (Federal Highway Police) was called to carry out traffic control. The causes of the violent accident were not disclosed.

One of the victims was identified André Luiz Peretti, he was on the Wolskwagem Voyage. André was a resident of Capinzal. The information was confirmed by family members through publications on the internet.
