The body of a man was found on the Farol da Barra beach, in Salvador, on Tuesday afternoon (2). According to readers of Salvador FM Portalthe PM and the Fire Department are at the scene.
To the Salvador FM Portalthe PM informed in a note that “police officers from the 11th CIPM were called to investigate a body of a man floating on the edge of Barra beach. Upon arrival, the PMs confirmed the fact, and the fire department was already at the scene ahead of the incident. The location was isolated until the arrival of Forensics”
The report also tried to contact the Fire Department: “We recovered a body that was floating on Barra beach this afternoon. The DPT was called for identification and other legal procedures.”
The Civil Police, through a note, “investigated the death of Erivan José Pedroso Brandão Filho, 59 years old, in the Barra neighborhood, this Tuesday (2). The victim’s body was found on that beach, wearing diver’s clothing and injured in the head. The forensic and removal guides were issued and the reports must certify the cause of death.”
