It fell! WhatsApp presents instability this Wednesday (03)

During this Wednesday afternoon, WhatsApp, Meta’s social network, experienced instabilities across the world. Apparently, the social network is facing some problem with its servers and this has caused WhatsApp to crash in Brazil, Germany, the United States and more.

According to data presented by the website “DownDetector”, the instability of the Meta messaging application has already was reported by more than 100 thousand people in Brazil alone. In Germany, the number is also close to 100 thousand. Users are encountering “service unavailable” messages, slow message sending, etc.


62% of complaints are related to sending messages, 29% warn about server problems and another 9% talk about connection problems with the Website. For some, WhatsApp has returned, however, other users on DownDetector themselves say they have no access to the application until now or complain about its slowness.

Unlike some other major instabilities, the only Meta social network that suffered this afternoon was WhatsApp itself. Facebook and Instagram have some complaints, but nothing as drastic, which reinforces a possible server problem.
