This year, Portugal is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April, that is, the achievement of freedom.

“Is it legitimate to say that today we live in freedom? Where were you on April 25th? What were the living conditions before April 25th?”

In this program, our announcers will ask these and other questions to our guests, D. Ana Lemos, Mr. Abílio Lopes, D. Celeste Vieira and Mr. José Vieira, young adults at the time in question.

Then we can listen to the usual headings:

– the proposal to read a book alluding to the Salazar era, in the voice of Matilde;

– national political news related to the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April, by students Mafalda and Beatriz;

– information about the films and 25 de Abril, voiceover by student José Ribeiro;

– Ana Teresa Ribeiro and Diana Diniz will provide us with information about the songs of 25 de Abril and the relationship between fashion and 25 de Abril, respectively;

– Mafalda’s suggestion to follow the itinerary of the 25th of April celebrations proposed by the Municipal Council of Oliveira do Hospital;

The selected songs evoke the anniversary.

Plenty of reasons not to miss the next AEOH Radio Club program!
