O Manchester United received and beat, this Wednesday, Sheffield United, by 4-2, in a match ‘unsuitable for those with heart failure’, in which Bruno Fernandes was a preponderant figure, having scored two goals, at 61 (in charge of a great penalty) and in the 81st minute.
After the final whistle, at Old Trafford, the Red Devils’ coach, Erik ten Hag, did not hold back in his praise for the Portuguese international, who is in a ‘devastating’ moment of form, given that, when all is said and done, he has already scored six goals and two assists after the last five games in all competitions.
“He is in very good shape. I think that, when we put him in the right position, he finds the right places. When he is in that position, he makes the right decisions”, he began by stating, in statements reproduced by the British newspaper Mirror.
“He can create a lot, score goals, make assists and participate in key actions. Therefore, we are very satisfied with his performance. He demonstrated his leadership, but also energy, with transitions to both sides”, he continued.
“It’s very important. He tries to encourage the team. He’s doing very well, and we’re very pleased with his performances and his attitude”, added the Dutch coach.
