Arapongas City Hall, through the Municipal Department of Education, held this Wednesday, the 27th, the delivery of chocolate eggs in reference to Easter – to be celebrated this Sunday, the 31st. In total, 12,500 items were purchased; including Easter eggs (traditional and special for children with lactose intolerance) – an investment of R$ 79,969.00.
This year, the Department of Education also purchased brownies (zero lactose) and honey bread (conventional), with an investment of R$45,555.00.

A symbolic delivery was made in the presence of the mayor of Arapongas, Sérgio Onofre and the Secretary of Education, Elisângela Bobato Cortez, at the Municipal Center for Early Childhood Education (CMEI) Primeiros Passos, in Jardim Caravelle. “It’s something so simple, but very special. The students are happy with the chocolates and we are grateful to be able to provide this moment. We know that many parents are unable to give their children gifts on this date. It is the public authorities also playing this social role”, said Onofre.

The Secretary of Education, Elisângela Bobato Cortez, highlighted the management’s commitment to providing quality education, with a close eye on the entire area of Education. “For another year, the municipal management is delivering the chocolates, reaffirming its commitment to the entire Education Network”, she mentioned.
