The improvement of urban infrastructure in Arapiraca has received investments never seen before in the city’s history.

Since January 2021, Mayor Luciano Barbosa’s administration has included different neighborhoods and towns with the paving of streets and avenues.

A survey carried out this week by the Municipal Infrastructure Secretariat already counts 176 kilometers of urbanized roads to date.

According to secretary and engineer Roany Izidoro, the paving and requalification works on streets and avenues will continue and advance to other parts of Arapiraca.

He reveals that, currently, services take place in the Planalto, Bonsucesso, Novo Horizonte, Vila Bananeiras, Guaribas and Verdes Campos neighborhoods.

“At the request of Mayor Luciano Barbosa, we have already carried out new studies and mapped new regions of the city, so that we can make specific interventions, improve traffic and, above all, people’s lives”, observes the secretary.

Yesterday (2), the 999 families living in Residencial Agreste were benefited from the start of requalification and asphalt covering works on 45 streets in the locality.
