The Municipal Health Department informs that the flu vaccination campaign began this Monday (1), for priority groups. The vaccine is available in all vaccination rooms at Basic Health Units and at the Jacarandás and André Maggi Integrated Service Centers (CIA’s).

In Sinop, the estimate is to immunize more than 45 thousand people who are part of the campaign’s target audience. To date, the municipality has received 10,200 doses of the vaccine, which is trivalent, that is, it protects against the three main viruses in circulation. The anticipation of work aims at prevention, reducing serious cases of the disease, hospitalizations and the number of deaths.

The UBS’s vaccination rooms are open from Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 11:00 am and from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm, and the CIA’s are open from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm, without a break. The interested target audience must go to the nearest health unit, armed with an identification document, SUS card and vaccination card.

The D-day for flu vaccination and multi-vaccination will be on April 13th. The SMS reinforces that the municipality has offered seven vaccination points on Saturdays (UBSs: Maria Vindilina II, Primaveras, Sebastião de Matos, São Francisco and Boa Esperança, and the CIA’s Jacarandás and André Maggi) with service from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, to provide the population with a different schedule and thus increase vaccination coverage, but everyone’s participation is necessary.
