A library and a pharmacy together give rise to “Bibliofarmácia”, this Thursday, April 4th, an activity that aims to combat illiteracy in the health sector.

By sharing health-related information, this initiative included in the Easter Holiday activities of the Mangualde Municipal Library, in partnership with Farmácia Feliz, aims to contribute to the training of citizens.

The activity includes two sessions, the first (10 am) aimed at children, and the second (3 pm) aimed at the general public.

Among the scheduled activities, a visit to the exhibition of pieces/materials at Farmácia Feliz, related to pharmaceutical activity, as well as a bibliographical exhibition, stands out. There will also be a workshop, readings, games and conversations about issues associated with pharmaceutical activity.

During the afternoon there will also be a debate on medication, self-medication, homemade medicines, risks of abusive or incorrect use of medication, etc.
