As part of the agreement between the Sony Pictures and streaming Max, Everyone But You (Anyone But You, in the original), the popular R-rated romantic comedy that stars Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria) and Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick) as a fake couple, will be added to the platform on March 29th. Released in January in Brazilian cinemas, and in December 2023 in the USA, the film arrives on streaming after being successful with audiences around the world, grossing more than US$214 million worldwide.
In the comedy, which takes place on a vacation trip to Australia, Sweeney and Powell play Bea and Ben, respectively, two people who start to hate each other after an electrifying first date, but who decide to pretend they are still a couple when their exes -boyfriends are also invited to Bea’s sister’s wedding.
Ben wants to win back the girl who broke his heart, and Bea can no longer take her parents’ insistence that she get back together with her former fiancé. To make life easier for both of them, they decide to create a fake relationship. The climate between the two is hot in many ways. In addition to sexual attraction, they can’t help but pester each other. It remains to be seen whether they will be able to stay together.
