In a podcast interview Scream Dreams, Don Mancinicreator of the franchise ‘Killer toy‘, revealed that he is in the early stages of developing a new film in the saga.
It is worth remembering that the last film in the franchise, ‘The Cult of Chucky‘, was released in 2017. Since then, the narrative has continued on the small screen, in series format.
“Like everyone in this industry, I always want to do more things. At this point, however, if I can only work on projects involving Chucky, I’m happy. There are also other things I want to do. I’m working on the pilot for a new series. Also, I’m in the early stages of a new Chucky movie.“
He completes, “Right now, my goal is to keep working.”
The second half of season 3′Chucky‘ will premiere on Star+ at the April 19th.
Remembering that the first two seasons are available on Star+.
The cast has Brad Dourif like Chucky’s voice, Jennifer Tilly like the iconic and psychotic Tiffany, Zackary Arthur like Jake Wheeler, Bjorgvin Arnarson like Devon Evans, Alyvia Alyn Lind like Lexy Cross, Alex Vincent like Andy Barclay, Christine Elise like Kyle, Fiona Dourif like Nica, Barbara Alyn Woods like Mayor Michelle Cross and Devon Sawa as a new character.
Lachlan Watson (‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’) plays Glen/Glenda.
