Christopher Nolan’s films are known for their non-linear narrative (two excellent examples are “Inception” and “Interstellar”) and the minimal use of special effects. In this series we follow a spy who finds himself trapped by an unknown organization on a remote island. Throughout the episodes the protagonist tries to understand the reason why he is trapped. The series ends witha very psychedelic sequencewhich instead of offering answers, leaves even more questions hanging in the air.

Although the British director’s films do not follow a linear structure, his works always end with a proper explanation (inside the possible). With the remake of “The Prisoner” this should not happen. Its ambiguous narrative goes against what Christopher Nolan usually does. The British director will have to leaving your comfort zone to bring to life a film that promises to be quite complicated for your creative being.
