Madonna recently made a faux pas at “The Celebration Tour” show in Vancouver, Canada, when she complained that a fan wasn’t dancing. However, the person in the audience in question was a wheelchair user. In an interview with TMZ released this Friday (15), Vanessa Gorman revealed that she was shocked by the situation.
The Canadian explained that she believed she had been seen by the star, as her wheelchair is a vibrant shade of pink. According to the fan, she thought that was why Madonna could see her “clear as day”. Vanessa even said that she initially didn’t think Madonna was talking about her.
However, the fan was shocked to realize that the singer was referring to her when she asked why she wasn’t standing up. Vanessa was sitting on the dance floor, next to the stage. The diva even pointed at the Canadian and the spotlight was also placed on her, but the fan declared that she didn’t mind the attention.
Vanessa even shouted out all her love for the singer. For her, Madonna did not cause the situation by any means, she just made a mistake. Furthermore, she stated that she was not offended by the situation. “Some people use wheelchairs and can stand up – she had no idea I was paralyzed.”he added.

Finally, the fan praised the star for apologizing immediately after the incident so that the entire public could hear. Vanessa said she enjoyed the rest of the show. The Canadian has been a paraplegic since 1999, when she was in a car accident. Watch the full video below:
