Sara Barradas comments on Dani Alves’ release from prison after paying bail

Dfter the news about the fact that Dani Alves – accused of sexual assault – had paid one million euros – the amount stipulated by the Barcelona Court – to be released on parole, Sara Barradas commented on the topic on Instagram.

“About the case of Dani Alves. Let’s not be so surprised that he paid a million euros to be free after raping a woman. This is the principle of all (in)justice: money. Justice and money They are not for those who want, they are for those who can. And in the sexist society in which we live, whose justice system is harshly patriarchal, with laws made by men, to defend men, none of this can surprise”, he began by saying in his stories page on the social network.

The actress then referred to “some articles of the penal code in short, thick words”.

“Beating a woman for life can be punished with a prison sentence of one to five years. Raping a woman can be punished with a prison sentence of one to six years. Being a pedophile can be punished with a prison sentence of one to eight years . Robbing a person can be punished with a prison sentence of one to eight years or three to 15 years in some cases. Drug trafficking can be punished with a prison sentence of four to 12 years or five to 15 years in some cases. Well, Let’s stop here”, he highlighted.

“In short: it is much worse, much more harmful and reprehensible to traffic or steal than to destroy the life of a child or a woman. These are not my words. It is what is written in the law. But perhaps the problem is the way I see the world, this way is clearly out of step with what happens in practice”, he concluded.
