“He is a very experienced coach and a great human being. He is someone who knows how to deal with players and identify problems. He is very communicative and understanding. “Schmidt is methodical and is a coach who wants all his players to run and do their job. He doesn’t like star players who only run to score goals. If something goes wrong, he corrects it”, he then stressed.
“He has one of the best styles and philosophies in Europe. Roger needs Benfica and his players to believe in his style. That way, they will become champions again and be a great team in Europe”, he added.
