One of the most used social networks in Brazil, WhatsApp showed instability this Wednesday (3). It didn’t take long for the subject to become a “trending topic” on X (formerly Twitter), mainly with users complaining and making jokes about the situation.

Anyone using the platform on the desktop (Whatsapp Web) was unable to send messages, which were ‘stuck’ and with a question mark inside a red circle, indicating that the text was ‘locked’.

The reports began around 2:50 p.m. At 4pm there were already more than 350 thousand publications on “X” on the subject.

Whenever the messaging network presents instability, Telegram gains strength on social networks. Also in trending topics, the name of the social network appeared in more than 800 thousand publications.

Through the same social network, the official WhatsApp profile reported that some people were “facing problems at the moment” and that the responsible team “was working to get everything back to 100% as quickly as possible”.
