Susana Vieira decided to share intimate details of her wedding in her book “Senhora do Meu Destino”, in which the actress narrates her own story. The work, which will be released this Saturday (27), includes the famous breakup with former police officer Marcelo Silva, after a betrayal came to light and his death shortly afterwards.

The artist revealed that she discovered the infidelity through the press, which led her to immediately expel Marcelo from the house. “I woke up one day with a betrayal reported in the newspapers: ‘Susana Vieira’s husband has had a lover for months’. A huge betrayal, with photos, with proof. At the same time, I threw Marcelo out of the house, and he went to live with his lover in a hotel in Barra”, she said.

The actress also described the experience: “the worst days of my life”. At the time, the artist had to deal with public exposure and the need to reinforce her security. A few weeks after the separation, Marcelo was found dead in an apartment hotel in Rio de Janeiro, allegedly the victim of a drug overdose.

Regretting the criticism from the press, Susana complained about having been singled out as responsible for the situation. “He was the one who had an overdose that led to his death. He was the one who had a lover. And I became the irresponsible one for having married for love?”, asks the actress in her book. “Even when you live with someone on a daily basis, unpleasant surprises can happen,” she reflected.
