Number of deaths in the Gaza Strip rises to 34,388. The majority are women and children – Current Affairs

According to local authorities, controlled by the Palestinian group Hamas, at least 34 people lost their lives in the last 24 hours, in attacks by the Israeli army against the Gaza Strip.

“The Israeli occupation committed four massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, in which 32 people died and 69 were injured”, informed the Ministry of Health in its daily statement, in which it reported the victims who were transferred to hospitals.

In addition to the 34,388 deaths, the majority of which were women and children, in the 204 days of war there were 77,437 injuries.

The Gaza Strip’s Ministry of Health also indicated that there are victims under the rubble and on the roads, whose bodies cannot be recovered by emergency teams.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, among the deaths recorded in the last few hours are six citizens who died in an Israeli air strike against the city of Rafah, in southern Gaza.

The Israeli army also reported that, in the last 24 hours, it attacked 25 alleged targets of Palestinian fighters in different parts of the Gaza Strip.

These attacks occurred as Hamas studies the latest proposal that Israel presented to a group of Egyptian mediators to reach an agreement on a truce.
