Hezbollah launches missile and drone attack in the south of the country against Israel – News

In a statement, the Lebanese Shiite group said it launched “a complex aerial operation with assault drones and guided missiles” against a headquarters in Manara, in northern Israel, and “against positions of the 51st battalion, belonging to the Golani Brigade ”, which suffered “direct impacts”.

Hezbollah added that this action was “in response to enemy attacks against towns and civilian homes, especially in the municipalities of Kfar Kila and Kfar Shuba” in southern Lebanon.

In the same sense, it also reported the death of two of its fighters in the Lebanese cities of Kfar Kila and Khiam, while the Lebanese National News Agency (ANN) reported the death of a civilian in an Israeli attack on the city of Kfar Shuba.

The Lebanese group also assumed responsibility for two more operations against northern Israel, in which it used rockets.

These attacks come a day after Hezbollah launched “dozens” of rockets at a military barracks in northern Israel, in response to a bombing that killed two commanders of the Sunni group Jamaa al Islamiya, in southern Lebanon.

Since October last year, Hezbollah and Israel have been involved in an intense crossfire following the war in the Gaza Strip.
