Mato Grosso recorded one death from covid-19 in the last 24 hours. The victim is a 95-year-old woman who lived in Sorriso, the death occurred on the 9th, but was only included in the list of deaths this Wednesday, the 13th. With this additional death, the state records a total of six deaths due to to coronavirus infection in March. In the same period, the state registered 239 new cases of the disease.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Mato Grosso has registered 923,241 confirmed cases of covid-19. Of these, 15,522 did not resist the virus and died. Another 905,610 were cured and 1,529 are under monitoring, with 250 currently hospitalized.

In addition to registered cases and deaths, the panel also shows municipalities that present a very high risk. To be classified in this category, municipalities must have more than 500 cases for every 100,000 inhabitants in a period of 14 days.

In this category, in addition to União do Sul and Novo Horizonte do Norte, which remained at high risk, the municipality of Novo Santo Antônio entered the list.
