After public success, city hall will take dance classes to communities in Arapiraca

With the success of the public’s presence in the Dance class that took place, free of charge, at Bosque das Arapiracas, on Saturday (16), the City of Arapiraca, through the Municipal Sports Secretariat (SMESP) announced, this Monday (18) ), which will take the Mexe e Remexe project, by professor Renata Reis, to communities in the municipality.

The schedule will cover every day of the week in different neighborhoods and times and will be published on Mondays. The Secretary of Sports, Josenildo Souza, met with professor Renata Reis and decided on this week’s schedule.

“The event was well received by the population and many people attended and participated in the dance class at Bosque das Arapiracas, which motivated us to take the project to the communities so that everyone can participate in free classes that provide well-being and take people to practice physical activity”, highlighted Josenildo Souza.

For Dance teacher, Renata Reis, Saturday’s event was very contagious and had the participation of men and women of all ages, who exercised and were motivated to exercise.

“We need to mobilize more people and this decision by the city hall with the Sports Secretariat is very important so that we can take dance classes to the community where they live, facilitating and encouraging everyone’s participation”, said Renata Reis.

Class schedule

This Monday (18), the free Dance class will be held at Bosque das Arapiracas, starting at 4 pm. On Tuesday (19), the activity will start at 5:30 am at Lago da Perucaba.

On Wednesday (20), the Dance class will be held at Arapiraquinha in the Primavera neighborhood, at 4 pm. On Thursday (21), the class will take place in Espaço Verde, on Avenida Ceci Cunha, at 5:30 am and on Friday (22), the event will be at 6 pm at Verdes Campos, in the Guaribas neighborhood.

To ensure the presence of more people, there will also be one dance class per month, on the weekend, in a neighborhood of the city, in the afternoon, starting at 4 pm. The location will be announced in advance.
