It is in flowers and plants that you find calm and tranquility. Augusto Relvas is the result of a life of work always guided by balance, common sense and the desire to leave the work done. He lives in a home, but often returns to his home in Portalegre and loves telling stories. Moments that he now leaves in his book of memories, popular quatrains and proverbs.

He had a career in the industrial sector. He worked in cooking oil factories in Portugal and Africa, and even registered patents, but he never left aside his artistic streak, which is now recorded in his first work, which he released at the age of 96.

Augusto gathered his friends and family at the people’s house in Alagoa, where he stayed with his wife until he became a widower. Today he lives in another institution, but it was here that he made a point of launching his first book, where everyone recognizes his work capacity and vitality.
