The DoubleTree by Hilton Lagoa Azores is the first hotel of the powerful North American chain in the Autonomous Region. It opens on June 19th and is now accepting reservations. The new unit is located on Av. da Inovação, in Lagoa, and represented an investment of around 16 million euros.
With a 4-star category, the DoubleTree by Hilton Lagoa Açores has 101 rooms and suites with a capacity for 199 beds.

The hotel offers a Signature Restaurant and Bar and a Rooftop Terrace Bar, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, gym, Spa, room service, concierge services, meeting rooms, and free parking and charging stations for electric vehicles.
Responsibility for the investment fell to the company Let’s SEA Azores – Sociedade de Investimentos e Turismo SA and its construction began at the end of 2019, with the promoters at the time stating that it would create 53 jobs.
Lagoa, where it is located, is approximately 11 kilometers from the city of Ponta Delgada and is the same distance from Santa Barbara beach, one of the most beautiful and extensive beaches in the region.
DoubleTree by Hilton Lagoa Azores is the 12th hotel in the Hilton chain to operate in Portugal. The chain currently has around 2,500 hotels in more than 80 countries.
