At the Abambres field, young players from clubs in Vila Real and Bragança had the opportunity to train under the guidance of Carlos Sacadura and Inês Aguiar, from the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), and under the watchful eye of Alfredina Silva, one of the pioneers of Portuguese women’s football.
“This initiative aims to reward the passion, resilience and talent of those dedicated to women’s football”, explains Professor Neca, confessing that “I was pleasantly surprised by the talent there is in this region”.
