Auctioneers at the Music Icons auction said that the guitar, used to record the Beatles’ album “Help” (1965), is expected to receive bids of up to R$4 million.

The instrument had been lost for more than 50 years. It was then that a man found him while moving house.

After finding out, some employees from Julien’s Auctions went to the location and confirmed that it was the original. Lennon acquired the 12-string acoustic guitar in late 1964.

The relic will enter the auction scheduled to take place on May 29th at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York and on the auctioneer’s website.
