Elon Musk has already shown on other occasions that he is hardly a person to give up and he proves it in the field of commercial space exploration, this time with the scheduling a new Starship system test flight.

This is the third launch of the Super Heavy mega rocket and the Satrship spacecraft, following two attempts that ended in explosions. The space system designed for future trips to the Moon and Mars first flew in April 2023, but the premiere ended minutes after launchwhen an anomaly caused the destruction of the rocket and the ship up in the air.

The system managed to take flightdespite a small bump that delayed the countdown for a few seconds. However, not everything went as expected: Starship ended up “dismantling” unexpectedly, exploding before stage separation.

On its second trip, last November, the most powerful rocket in the world and the respective Starship spacecraft it gives a lift to It “started” well, it passed the stage separation test, but it also ended up explodingthis time with around nine minutes of flight, at 148 kilometers of altitude, while flying at 24,124 km/h.

There was time, however, to enter orbit, for the two stages of the system to separate and for the second stage to still be able to continue traveling for a few minutes, a considerable advance compared to what had happened with the previous test. See the video of the moment, published by SpaceX.
