WhatsApp is experiencing instability this Wednesday afternoon (3). In Brazil, the number of user complaints began to increase from 3 pm onwards. Both the mobile version and WhatsApp Web had problems.
According to the website Downdetector, which monitors the status of applications and websites, there were already more than 100,000 notifications at 3:30 pm. The main points reported were problems sending messages (62%) and connecting to the server (29%).
At first, the home screen continued with the information “Connecting” for a while, without success. Then, the information below began to appear, reporting “service unavailable”, and asking users to try to connect again in a few minutes.

Furthermore, users also found it difficult to send messages. After typing, many reported not getting shipping confirmation.
The instability of the green messenger was global, and also happened in other countries. WhatsApp has 2 billion users across the planet.
WhatsApp has not yet commented on the problem.
