Xiaomi, once again, changed the market. The brand has this effect with its products and the Xiaomi SU7 is once again proving this unique ability that the brand has. After the success of its presentation, last weekend showed just that, with Xiaomi SU7 sales outlets being full.
Xiaomi is used to having long queues at the doors of its stores. With each new launch of its smartphones, the brand gathers great interest from consumers, who wait hours on end to access the purchase or try out these new proposals that the brand puts on the market.
With the Xiaomi SU7 this movement seems to have continued and during this weekend the brand's stands were full. Reports in China show these moments, with long queues for the long-awaited test drives that the brand had promised to its (potential) customers.

Some stand managers stated that the daily flow of customers in the last two days reached between 6000 and 10,000 people, so they “didn't rest well for five consecutive days”. Many stands were full and long queues formed at the door. It became normal to wait in line for test drives until 2 or 3 in the morning, with a flow of customers that never stopped increasing.
Employees at many stores said that users who paid a deposit could “get in line” and get priority for a test drive, while users who did not pay a deposit would have to wait up to two weeks for the opportunity to test drive.

Interestingly, Xiaomi also announced that its electric car is already sold out for 2024. A publication from the smartphone giant was, however, shared and features an announcement stating that production capacity for 2024 has been exhausted with 120,000 orders. This bodes well for the Xiaomi SU7 and the brand's electric car business as a whole.
This is excellent news for Xiaomi and its electric car. After all the success it has had on smartphones and other devices, the Xiaomi SU7 opens the doors to a new area.
